About Harwill Farms

Luke and Crystal both grew up in Rural Ontario in the heart of farm country. They both had passion for farming and this lead to the evolution of Harwill Farms. Harwill Farm was founded in 2010 by Luke Hartung and long time friend Andy Williams (hence Har-will), with a vision to grow quality vegetables for their local community. In 2011, Luke and Crystal paired up to continue running the farm and the rest is history. Since that time they have continued to grow their farm business by producing vegetables, pumpkins, pork, poultry, and hosting one of the region’s most anticipated fall events—Pumpkinpalooza!

Our farm is located just outside of Gowanstown, ON on Luke’s family farm that was originally purchased in 1947 by Luke’s grandparents. Luke and Crystal’s family mark the 7th generation of Hartung’s farming in Canada, and that pride comes through in the produce they offer.

They have been ever thankful for the support the community has given their business, and look forward to continuing to grow and offer nutritious local produce for years to come!
